  1. The line of the man echoes the line of the inbuilt column (I’m sure it has a name, but I don’t know it) perfectly, and his colours fit superbly with that slightly ruinous facade. And then there are the two patches of green in counterpoint. A perfect photo.

    When do you go AWOL?

  2. I love this Sue. Beautiful.

  3. I confess to wondering what he is looking at. I find myself thinking about this, rather than contemplating his surroundings. Like wise the tiny window. I wonder whet lies within.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • Sue

And I wanted you to wonder what he was looking at, the story, as it were…. As for the tiny window, no idea, but I loved the Sicilian architecture – loads of fascinating details. Hope to go back sometime!

  4. Lovely faded colours. Why do dilapidated houses seem so appealing in Europe, but look like slums here?

  5. Very well captured… 🙂

  6. Ah, those gorgeous sun-baked colours Sue, what’s not to like ? 🙂

  7. I love the old architecture and all that great texture! Lovely tones too!

  8. Sue I am again loving the addition of the person in the photo for perspective.

  9. Now that I know you better I can understand why you would enjoy Sicily Sue.

  10. A man pondering his next step it seems.. 🙂

  11. I love the interesting shapes, lines, and detail you captured; your image is really engaging.

  12. Lovely coordination of colours. Hope all goes well and smoothly with the moving, See you when you return to us…

Over to you...
