To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
I would have had to blow on this after taking the photo. I hope you did, Sue.
Best wishes, Pete.
Sorry to disappoint you Pete – I didn’t. But it was more substantial than it looks..
Haha…this looks good compared to some of my bad hair days 🙂
Wish I knew what the plant was….
A clematis tangutica I suspect – they have delicate yellow hanging flowers.
Next time I visit, I’ll see if there’s a label….
Me too, it’s really sweet 🙂
You found the (Donald) Trump plant…don’t get too close 🙂
I think I’ve seen someone with hair like this.
Oh, my! 😳
Looks better than my hair today. 😕
I don’t believe that, Sylvia….
Well maybe I was exaggerating just a little. 🙂
It looks like a Dr Seuss character!
Well, it’s not Ikkerbod – that was my Dracaena marginata 😳
Outstanding. My Dracaena is offering nada
Well, mine is long gone….😀
Actually looking closely at your photo those hairs look almost like feathers. There is another one which has similar, but more straggly silky balls that is called OLD MAN’S BEARD (CLEMATIS VITALBA). The sedd-heads last for ages and look very pretty.
Heard of old man’s beard, but didn’t know the Latin name…. thanks, Jude, I’ll go searching next time
I think Jude was right first time as there’s one coming from the neighbour making my fence look much nicer, but there are many varieties!
So we think Clematis tangutica?
I’m going to adopt this as my avatar! I’m sporting an appalling haircut at the moment: the hairdresser also grew garlic, at which I hope she was better. That beautiful whatever is having an excellent hair day!
Oh dear, hope you find a better hairdresser soon! Glad you like my little find….
Should’ve had it done in Poland, but I ran out of time and I wanted elegance for the Brisbane excursion.
Love the quote! LOL!
Very cute hair, Sue 🙂
Isn’t it just!
