  1. I like these ‘old’ photos a lot Sue. My favourite category of your posts.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. I loved it, I love this kind of rooms… There are so many details I would like to see… I love to sit there and to spend time for hours… Beautiful photograph. Thank you dear Sue, love, nia

  3. Great image, Sue. I can almost smell the mustiness.

  4. Certainly looks like time halted and is holding its’ breath

  5. Superb negative space on the left (at least I hope that’s what it is – always dangerous trying out new technical language!) The contents of the desk create the personality of the owner – they are all interesting, and subtly lit.

It isn’t quite what I would class as negative space, which is blank space to accentuates the subject… In this image there still is some detail which your eye can wander around, so I wouldn’t personally say it was negative space – I might spark a few comments here!! 😳

  6. Love your moody shots Sue, this is a beauty

  7. Great atmosphere Sue! Looks like my kind of study! 🙂

  8. I like the mood you have captured here.

  9. A special place where spending time must be a real intense experience…

  10. That’s wonderfully atmospheric, Sue 🙂

  11. Beautiful lighting Sue, is it natural light from a window? It has set a very introspective mood that goes so well with the subjects.

  12. Dear Sue
what a beautiful and moody picture. We like it very much 🙂 🙂
That’s concentration or better: the expression of a centred mind.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Lots of love
