Monochrome Monday: Cobwebs& Corrosion 3

Following from yesterday, here the images are in Black & White, and it’s for you to decide which works best!  Colour with the juicy tints of rust, or the sinister tones of black & white, with all that dark negative space….with who knows what lurking in there.

  4. That really works well in B&W, Sue. This morning, I took some photos of spider webs at the park and now I’m thinking I should see how they translate to monotone.

  5. love the bottom one – the cobweb shows up really well but in an abstract spooky way…

  6. I really like the b&w versions Sue – I think the colour is almost a distraction (just looked at them – Internet connectivity in the far north is good but only when we reach a hotel)

  7. Now I thought I would prefer the black and white Sue but I like yesterdays best!

  8. I like the images better in black and white. There is something so profound about a black and white image. It seems to capture the soul of the subject. Does that make sense?
