Cobwebs and Corrosion 2

Nearly two years ago, I created a post for a couple of challenges, and titled it Cobwebs and Corrosion:

As regular visitors to my blog know, I love old stuff. Preferably abandoned, derelict, decaying old stuff. In a different life, I would be heavily into Urbex. Alas, my health would largely prevent that now. Occasionally, all too occasionally, I come across the odd bit of rust and spiders webs, as in the post 2 years ago. The other day, I came across a tiny bit, and here are two images:

I shall create monochrome versions soon, and see if I can rustle up some dark atmosphere….

  1. Good finds, Sue. I’m sure you can make these look really spooky. 🙂

  2. They’ll be really goth in monochrome, I’m looking forward to seeing them!

  3. There is something about the colour variations in corroded metal that works with a colour shot. But I am sure that they will take on a new life in B+W too.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. lovely artworks! that top images is just divine, I love it. great shapes, colours, line, … wonderful.

  5. I love these shots, Sue.

  6. What a unique challenge, ‘Cobwebs & Corrosion’. I do love ‘old’ as you know Sue, and always enjoy your art.

  7. Great photos, as you’d expect me to think – and a neat alliterative title.

  8. Like them in B&W as well, but these ones are my favourites!

  9. Oh how much I love it when nature takes over but cobwebs… imply spiders and spiders… freak me out! 😀
