Here’s a sepia toned image of the vaulted crypt below the ruins of Fountain’s Abbey (founded in 1132, it’s a little over 50 years old!), taken one rainy day a few years ago:

      Sheer luck, it was a pretty miserable day, but every now and again the clouds lifted a tad, and there was a bit of light filtering into the crypt

      Glad you like this, Cee ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t have a lot of images of Fountains because it was such a lousy day, and I was trying to stay dry!
