Today, Paula’s theme for B&W Sunday is Natural. So here is a very literal take on this – an image of some lavender that I faffed about with on the iPad and converted to monochrome (being too lazy to do a ‘proper’ job on the iMac)

Gorgeous, Sue, really gorgeous. That DoF is perfect, and the light was just right. Thank you!
Thank you! 😀

Gorgeous! 🙂
The colour version is even better!
I love B+W photos, and this one is great. But lavender probably looks better in colour.
Best wishes, Pete.
Lavender does look better in colour, and I may show the colour version soon….
I always have a problem with plants in B&W though the clarity of this image is gorgeous. I’d like to see the colour version too 🙂
Thanks, Jude – you’ll love the colour version, which I shall post soon! 😀
Their structures are lovely whether in colour or not!
Thanks, Jane! But they really are better in colour! 😀
The clarity is so striking and there are so many layers to this image. Beautiful, Sue.
Many thanks, Lynne 🙂
So very beautiful Sue!
The colour image is even better, and I shall post soon!
Look forward to seeing it.
You do faff around well, Sue. Those flowers look like tiny jewels 🙂
Ah, thank you, Jo – your comment brought a big smile to my face!

Many thanks, Ritva, I was pleased with the depth I was able to achieve 🙂
