An old rusty watering can stands outside an overgrown greenhouse…. a slight tinker with Nik HDR Efex completes the mood.

  1. Nice one Sue, and portrait was a good composition choice too.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  2. Fantastic as always, dear Sue! ๐Ÿ™‚

Heaven for a sleepy cat Sue !
Love those old galvanised watering cans … far too heavy to be practical much better to leave them as a garden feature ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. The light and tone gives it such a delicious look of summer laziness!

Thank you, Patti! I couldn’t really get this how I wanted, my fault for not executing my vision properly when I took the shot!

  5. Nice one Sue! ๐Ÿ˜€ Nik software really is the best! I use Color Efex in all of my photos!

  6. Lots of atmosphere, good composition Sue

  7. Perfectly captured and edited Sue. Love it!.

  8. Lovely photograph Sue! ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Yes- full of mood! ๐Ÿ™‚

  10. Love it Sue- and the slight tinkering!!

  11. If I had a greenhouse, that’s probably what it would look like ๐Ÿ˜€ Excellent detail with that watering can, really love the processing too.

  12. hi Sue, I quite like the ‘feel’ of this! There’s a nostalgic vibe I like ๐Ÿ™‚ Plus, great design leadins, the textures and patterns are visually intriguing…. and leave me wondering! So, do you work in lightroom, photoshop, or ? I have now just installed lightroom, can’t yet make it behave, yikes!
anyway, Your progressive textures from back into the front really keep my eye travelling along a guided pathway. Excellent!!

  13. Nice one, Sue – given another year and the can will seem entirely incorporated into the natural landcape. And as others, I like the portrait mode.
