    I love rust and crust especially in Susan Judd’s version 🙂 This one has good composition, great contrasts and most of all that element of curiosity that makes the picture more interesting – what’s behind the hole? Thank you, Sue 🙂

    I like the fact that there is no scale. It could be a huge keyhole, for a giant, ancient key, or just a close up of a conventional lock. As Paula says, an ‘element of curiosity’. There’s a story behind this photo, even if it’s only in our imaginations. That’s why it works so well.

    It looks so mysterious in black and white. I agree with Paula. The dark keyhole draws the eye and leads to the mind to wonder what lies beyond.

    Great photo Sue! 😀 I agree with previous comments about not knowing the size of the lock…could indeed be a giants door! 😀 Very nice detail and b&w fits it perfectly!
