  1. Wonderful.. I love the allum flowers. Such a bold purple richness.

  2. It’s a lovely image!

  3. It works for me Sue!
    Best wishes, Pete.

  4. The mix of blurred, sharp and mere background works very well, thank you very much.

I would say YES ! Love these Allium flower lollipops .

  6. Well done, Sue. The dark background really pops the color of the flower.

This brought back a memory from 35 years ago: I was working on a powerhouse in NW Colorado and the hillside behind our material warehouse was covered with Alliums. One day a couple of jokers took cans of spray paint and painted hundreds of flowers in 8 different colors. It was like Peter-Max-meets-Sgt-Pepper. Ω

  7. There you go asking me technical questions again, Sue! I’m a simple lass. I love it! 🙂

  8. Suzanne

Thenegative space works very well indeed. The flower stands out. I like the composition too.

  9. Works for me! And I have seen allium seed heads spray painted (car paint) in purple which looked amazing!

  10. This is gorgeous. A solemn and elegant shot!

  11. lovely. perfect contrast of light and dark on this 🙂
