Street / 20 – Blending in

Here’s a Street image taken, or rather snatched, on my travels in Palermo, Sicily. It was a sudden recognition that this would make a shot, and I wasn’t as careful as I should have been regarding composition… I was struck by the way the girl’s clothing chimed in with the colours of the columns and the door. A moment later, and it would have been lost.

  1. The splash of green from the palm fronds seems to lift the shot. I might have tried to lose it, but I think it actually helps. Palermo seems to have its fair share of ‘faded glory’ Sue.
