Mellow Monday?

Well, it’s certainly not a Manic Monday, thank goodness…that will be reserved for the coming week.

This morning, I went for a short stroll in my favourite little Walled Garden- where the roses are looking lovely. The scent from some yellow roses was wonderful – I should have noted the name.

Here is a collage of a few:

  1. I love this collage format – and of course the roses. They don’t seem to be out in Warsaw yet. And I love the idea of a walled garden.

    • Sue

I rarely remember to use the collage – I think it works especially well for flowers! Glad you enjoyed it, and I’m sure the roses will be out in Warsaw soon….

  2. Beautiful roses! Good monday

  3. I’ve hardly seen any roses yet this year, these are glorious, I must seek some out 🙂

  4. Wonderful roses, Sue, you collage looks great, very inspiring. 🙂
The roses aren’t quite as far in Bonn yet, but slowly looking better now the temperate is rising.
Greeting from the Rhine Valley, Dina
and the rest of the gang in Cley

    • Sue

Thank you, Dina…I’m sure the roses in the Rhine won’t be too far away! I have been having a very quiet few days to have a rest, but I did just have a wander this morning when I saw these beautiful roses! Greetings to you and the other three xx

  5. That walled garden of yours certainly holds some treats for the eye. A very nice selection Sue.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • Sue

It’s my ‘go to’ place in times of stress….need to find somewhere else that does the same job when I move (aargh)

  6. Who doesn’t love roses. I can almost smell these Sue. Very nicely done!

  7. Sue is this your garden? Such lovely flowers. I will pop right over to stroll with you. 🙂

  8. I haven’t been out far lately, its been too darn chilly here, and certainly not seen many roses. So thank you for these. Very pretty 🙂

    • Sue

Well, I haven’t been far either – I hate this ever present wind. At least in this little place, surrounded by walls, it doesn’t seem quite so bad. Glad you enjoyed these flowers, Jude

  9. Nice selection. A rose garden in full bloom is hard to compare to.
There are so many varieties, I don’t know how anyone can keep up with them.

  10. Hi Sue,

Those are lovely photos.Clearly your visit to the garden allowed you to be in the present, which is such a blessing in today’s world, is it not? So what were the thoughts that passed through your mind as you were strolling through that garden?

  11. No roses here yet.. they are wonderful..

  12. Such gorgeous colors, such wonderful roses…I’m always looking for new choices for my garden.

  13. They are all so beautiful and elegant! Wonderfully presented in your gorgeous collage!

  14. Pretty and effective too 🙂

  15. That collage is a perfect shape to show off the beauty of the roses. Is that an app or some photo programme?

  16. Roses are so beautiful 😀 Lovely collage Sue!
