To See a World in a Grain of Sand...
Nice old dockside crane (I think). Looks great in B+W Sue. Probably housing the ghost of a crane driver…
Best wishes, Pete.
It is an old crane at Canada Water, left over from when the flats were built in the 80s, I believe…..
I used to live near there, in Redriff Road, from 1985-1997. No wonder I recognised it!
Ah! I don’t know the area, visiting a friend….
Great shot. Not sure I want to step inside & find out.
Well, Pete has already suggested the ghost of a crane driver….a rotten floor is the more likely…
Great shot. Not sure I want to step inside & find out…
No, but I may know the lies within! 😉
Six Words and Shadows
😀😀😀
I’d live in it. A lick of paint here and there and it would make the perfect high rise apartment!
A bit of welding too….. 😳
Filled with all that is going on with the outside.
😳
Well I have my own idea!
Not sharing?
You’re being creepy again! 🙂 🙂
Oh, I can do creepy!
I love you beeing creepy…for sure I agree it’s a ghost. The wind says it…
Wooooohooooo
I told you!
😳
Spiders, for sure. Very nice photo.
Spiders….of course! Glad you like the photograph 😀
It looks COOOOLD
Old and cold…..
Thought provoking!
😃
Interesting question, Sue. I think I’ll leave well alone. 🙂 Great shot.
Haha…. Glad you like the shot
Love this – it is like a drawing.
I suppose it does, a bit!
Ghostly Lovecraftian title – composition has great sense of atmosphere. 🙂
Oh my….it’s many years since I read HP Lovecraft – Tales of Cthulhu, the Rats in the Walls etc etc!
Probably it is still full of thoughts, feelings, desires, dreams and wishes for a better life.
Who knows?
