There is something quite magical about your series of dying flowers. They have really got to me.
Best wishes, Pete.
Many thanks, Pete! My love of decaying flowers has become a bit of a joke amongst friends …..
Skin of your teeth fading daffs will do! 🙂 Happy Easter, Sue!
Happy Easter, Jo 😀
Great last minute entry considering the photos, well done.
Thanks, Amy, glad you liked!
I threw some in the bin even worse than these, yesterday! But they are glorious whilst they last.
They most certainly are! Happy Easter, Jude 😀
That’s a very clever composition Sue ! They really have a beauty of their own when the crinkles set in 😉
Happy Easter Sue !
Oh, there’s nothing like a few crinkles! Have a very Happy Easter, Poppy! 😀

I really like the high key processing here Sue and that one daffodil, standing alone in sharp focus against the soft focus of the others works really well! 🙂
I’m pleased you think the focus works!
Flowers have a certain beauty s they die but they also make me feel a little sad.
You are not the only one to have said that!
i love this Sue – love the way the daffs fade into the white space, just like they are fading away.
As they were….glad you enjoyed this!
So very different from the usual Daffodil image. But all the daffodils end up like this – we just never think they are worth an image. But they are and you’ve just showed us why, Sue. I love it.
Thanks very much – glad you like it!

These look very like mine. I’m going to plant them in the garden. 🙂 Beautifully photographed, Sue.
Thanks, Sylvia… These were cut flowers, so no chance of planting them……
