I’m sure many people will disagree, but I feel there can be something graceful about leaves in decay, some creating an almost lace-like appearance – very delicate. Some just gently suspended…
I have created this collage of images from my wanderings today in the walled garden. I was delighted to come across a group of skeletal leaves…amazing what quickens my pulse!! Thankfully, the gardeners who were tidying the place hadn’t yet spotted them.

these are very delicate – and beautiful. I love every stage of natures living things…I wish we humans could love the old and wrinkled as well. I do. I loved my grandmother’s every wrinkle and her love, wisdom and beauty.
