Beauty in Decay/ 41

As promised, another of the fading tulips, backlit this time. I love the elegance of this, and the detail in the petals.

  1. Superb Sue! Very nicely done! 🙂

  2. Your use of backlight is wonderful. I also like the horizontal approach to your latest compositions. I think that it helps to capture attention right away as we expect to view flowers vertically.

  3. Truly elegant and yes, the back light is gorgeous…

  4. Love the soft yellow and the transparency of the petals, so good on the white background!

  5. Oh, Sue, you are getting better and better at these. This is so beautifully delicate and ethereal.

  6. So graceful ‘in flight’ 🙂 I saw my first tulips in Aldi yesterday but opted for delicious rosebuds. Tulips soon! 🙂

  7. I do admire the way you do this and enjoy the results! Recently I tried to take a photo of “beauty in decay” orchid but it’ s nowhere close to yours… 🙂

  8. reminds me of a half-sucked lemon drop 🙂 a capture that almost becomes illustration

Another beautiful image Sue. Delicate yet such a strong form.

  10. I love the elegance too, Sue
