One/ 37

Clearing out, and sorting some old prints in the process, I came across some images from a business trip to Malta more than a decade ago…. One of them would fit this series nicely, so here it is…. end of a concert and the fireworks were blazing. One solitary woman on a stage:

Taken with a very basic compact film camera, it actually turned out rather better than I thought it would!

    Wow – brilliant shot.

  3. Christmas fireworks! No, I know they’re not, but it’s a good capture. Have a peaceful and happy Christmas, in case we don’t speak again, Sue. Very best wishes for 2015. 🙂

    • I should have posted this one for the New Year, but probably won’t be blogging at that time! Thanks for the good wishes, and I have actually sent my wishes to you in an earlier response!! Anyway, have a good one…

  4. What a finale! Superb ‘One’ shot Sue!

  7. Gorgeous photo, the single figure makes such an interesting statement.

  8. Yes this is a superb shot. It says celebration, and glamour but it also says vulnerability and loneliness. Well done!

  9. A really dramatic image, Sue! I agree with your previous commenter.

  10. Wow. Great result! There’s so much going on in this photo.

  11. Wow!!! How stunning!!!

    • It was rather amazing. I was on a business trip years ago, and had a very basic compact camera with me – this was after the evening meal probably on the last evening.
