Couldn’t think of anything to post for this week’s WordPress Photo challenge of Achievement, but I decided this might do:

Ride those waves!
I’m always in awe of how these surfers balance on the board and stay standing as the waves crash down!

Cool, very well captured – I myself do better with sail on… 😀
🙂
It must feel so exhilarating. 🙂
I guess it must, but as I have never tried it, and never will with my balance, I wouldn’t know!
I would say this is a definite achievement…at least in my book. It sure would be for me 🙂
Glad you think so, Angeline…. 🙂
Tricky – and what an achievement to actually ride a wave. I have been trying to capture some surfers here, but there hasn’t been much surf recently. Maybe today will be the day 😉
It would be an achievement to ride the waves, something I’ll never do!
Me neither – but that’s mainly because I hate my head under water!
Oh, in my case it’s the dodgy balance and a recent fear of falling!
I echo your thoughts Sue .. and one cannot help but be mesmerised by watching them .
Too true 🙂

Excellent shot, and perfect for this week’s challenge. Yes, I too wonder how those surfers stand upright – the waves are always making them bop up and down. I can’t even balance on a bicycle, I don’t think I’ll fare very wall trying to stand on the waves 😀
Thanks, Mabel! You and me both on balance 😄
That would certainly be an achievement for me!! I stayed this one out Sue.
