Went for a short wander this morning as it was such a beautiful day, and was struck by the strength of the sun, and hence the shadows. Should have stuck an ND filter on and got a better sky…
I needed a person in this shot, but all I got was an empty bench!
I understand that you are illustrating the light and you have succeeded, but could you, would you, show us the colour? 🙄
Hahaha – I was waiting for someone to say that!! I might just oblige… but the colours aren’t fantastic… However, I do have some nice autumn colour shots taken the other day which I’ll get around to posting soon 🙂
I’m rushing down the country to sit on that bench, just for you, Sue! Hold on to that sunshine 🙂
🙂 🙂
The light is wonderful these days, and you have caught it. I just long for colours, because this year we are short of them…Last year brought a wonder of colours and crisp mornings. This autumn is grey and rainy.
Some colourful autumn shots coming soon!
Looking forward to seeing them!
🙂
Prefer the intense colors… but a great sepia image.
Thanks….i actually prefer this particular image in monochrome, because of the shapes of the bench and the shadows…..
You know me by now … and I’m not really a B&W fan, some images talks to me .. but not many and I’m not very good on capture them myself neither, maybe that is the reason. I know that most serious photoghaper like working in B&W, just for the reason as you say here. I want our world to be colorful and warm.
Hmm, wouldn’t it be great if the world was colourful and warm…well, there is plenty that is. And why not have cheerful photographs? 🙂
