Moving closer to home with this one – underpass by Blackfriars Bridge, London. Having a play with some motion shots, a bit cramped for a tripod, so this was handheld at 1/4 sec. The background wasn’t quite sharp enough, but a bit of treatment in NIK SilverEfex, and I think I’ve got the effect I want…going for the impressionist rather than the literal.

A fleeting glimpse….
I love the motion you captured here!
Thanks, Angeline! It’s something I play around with quite a lot now…
Love this image, Sue. Well done!

Phenomenal photograph! Eerie and beautiful!
Thank you! It’s my latest craze, using motion blur….:)
I love this – I’ve walked through here many times and actually photographed the images on the tiles. The figure is a great addition and as you say yourself so aptly ‘impressionist’. Well done.
Many thanks, Andy! I stood around for a while to see what would present itself to me…I’m trying to do that more now, following an online course I did with Otto von Münchow…it certainly can be productive!
Love it…very ethereal!
Thanks!
