Inviting at Nighttime

Despite the dodgy title, I assure you this is all innocent stuff….This week, the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is Nighttime, and Ailsa has us thinking about images that say Inviting….so, what better than to combine the two. I leave you to decide whether this combination works.

We are in Italy, or more precisely Tuscany for both of these. Firstly, eating al fresco in the late evening, Lucca:

And how about letting the late summer evening drift by on the riverbank, Pisa:

  1. I was looking for restaurant images for ‘inviting’ too, but didn’t find any I haven’t already used. I think the top photo works perfectly and Lucca IS on my (non) list to visit. The thing that catches my attention on the second photo is that blue building. Such interesting decoration and you know how much I love windows and architecture. What IS that building?

  2. Love the combination of weekly photo challenges! And your pictures are so very, very clear. Nice!

  3. Great photos – brings back memories of Tuscany 🙂

  4. I love the reflections in the second photo Sue

  5. Oh my….I find this romantically inviting….sigh….

  6. I haven’t been to Italy, yet, and you make it look so inviting.

  7. Love the atmosphere in the first and that blue in the second 🙂

  8. This is a perfect match for the challenges and a very lovely one, if not the best, Sue.
    Have a wonderful Sunday!

  25. As soon as I caught a glimpse of that first shot I thought, “That’s Lucca” – I didn’t get to see it in the evening light though. Nice shot.
