Over at her wonderful travel blog, ‘Where’s my Backpack?’, Ailsa has chosen Orange for this week’s theme. Oh dear….I don’t seem to gravitate towards orange for my images. I found a few sunsets, and the occasional flower, but not particularly great images.
Then I had a light bulb moment – what about some of the graffiti, oops, Street Art I saw on my trips into London? Orange spray paint certainly seems to be around, and here are three examples! The first two, especially are nicely glowing!

So where is Dan?
See more orange here.
Love these!
They are rather fun, aren’t they!
Well remembered! They definitely deserve an outing. I reckon Dan is up in Kirkcudbright 😀
And why would that be?
It’s where ALL the red squirrels hang out 😉
😀 😀
Good choices. I like the colors in the second one the most.
I rather agree with you! 🙂
Lovely!
Well, different! Thanks Leya 🙂
Well captured! I really like the first two as well, perhaps because the circle format ties them together so well. I assume that was your doing, not the original artists’?
No, no credit to me, all of these are straight shots of the art. Unless you mean were the first two together….no, they weren’t, I seem to recall they were in quite different areas. So it’s my doing to group those.
Great photos Sue. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Original and wonderful, Sue! 🙂
Thanks, Ese! I aim to please! 🙂
And you manage with flying colours (orange – this time!) 🙂
Such pretty grafitti, Sue! (call a spade a spade 🙂 )
These are lovely finds.
They were rather fun!
what fun!! These are wonderful!!
Fun is the word, Cybele 🙂
Interesting “street art!!” Sue. Those first 2 certainly seem to be by the same artist, the figure silhouettes are almost identical.
Oh, I’m certain they are. 🙂
They are superb – never seen anything like that in London, yet
Well, it’s an ever-changing scene. These were in the Shoreditch area, one I think was in a street off Brick Lane….but there’s probably different stuff there now!
Love the way you displayed these Sue! All great choices.
Thanks, Tina, glad you liked! 🙂
These are great. I really like the two first.
Thanks!
