Beauty in Decay/25

Having thought there were no subjects in the garden of late, I noticed the Japanese anemones might be good….. I love the fluffy, almost downy look to the outside of the petals, very evident in the image below.

Here’s one just ‘on the turn’, as it were:

  11. Nice. The petal to the left (or is it a sepal?) reminds me of the top of a furry animals head. Maybe a goat? I really enjoy that and the spotlight appeal of the lighting. 😀
