Beauty in Decay/24

Adieu…..farewell to yesterday’s flower, finished now – petals all drooping, bright colour tipping over to browns. I love the textures in this:

  1. Stunning. I’ve got news on Photoshop/Lightroom. Actually all you need is Photoshop. Bridge now has it’s own version of LR called RAW. So I’m just concentrating on learning photoshop and bridge. It’s only $9.99 a month and you still get LR too. I’m so happy. I used photoshop about 5 years ago and it has changed a lot especially with the virtual changes. 🙂

    • Thanks for your comment…stunning makes me very pleased! Interesting about Photoshop… For now I’m sticking with Aperture, but who knows?

  2. I’m really enjoying this series, Sue.

  3. Wow, Sue, this is breathtakingly good! Love this work of art. Well done.
    Greetings from the north,

  4. Gorgeous…I liked the brighter, earlier image as well….But this shot is to die for…..Suitably enough I suppose.

  5. Emilio Pasquale

Unless it’s too late already, I think you have at least one or two more shots in those flowers! Great series in the making!

  6. Your beautiful photography makes these shots of flowers past prime so compellingly beautiful …

  7. Exquisite! Is this a textures entry? No, I’m sure that was a few weeks ago. It would have been perfect.

    • Exquisite is a lovely way of putting it – thank you! I agree this would have made a great texture entry, but I used another form of decay for that, old metal, rust and cracking paint 🙂

  8. This is brilliant!!! Possibly the best of your decay series Sue.

Over to you...
