Here’s another image from my travels of a solitary soul, colour-coordinated with her surroundings:

Solitary in (almost) monochrome

Solitary in (almost) monochrome

  1. Very effective Sue – that’s all it needed, one lone figure

  2. Beautiful shot! Love the distance to the subject.

  3. Another interesting shot Sue. Well captured 🙂

  4. Oh wow, I love this one. 🙂

  5. I really like the muted tones and limited colour palette. It helps guide the eye up the road. I kind of want to know what is at the top of this hill.

  6. What a moment you captured here Sue. It exudes the every meaning of the word solitary, very powerful this…

  7. Striking, with its leading lines!

I would trade my shoes for hers. Great shot Sue.

  9. poppytump

It prompts thoughts of where IS everyone … a certain ambiguous … is she hurrying or is she wearily trudging up the hill .. I like it Sue !

    • It was earlyish morning, which accounted for the quiet, and she was hurrying, Irecall….. But glad you like the mystery, Poppy! 🙂

  10. A bland shot without her; perfect with her. Love this shot.
