Delighting in Our World
Very effective Sue – that’s all it needed, one lone figure
Thanks Robin – this was a completely instinctive shot, just had a moment to take it before she disappeared from view!
Beautiful shot! Love the distance to the subject.
Thank you! 🙂
Another interesting shot Sue. Well captured 🙂
It’s all about recognising that moment! Thanks 🙂
Oh wow, I love this one. 🙂
Thanks! Taken over a decade ago, it’s one I’ve always remembered because of the limited colours and the composition.
I really like the muted tones and limited colour palette. It helps guide the eye up the road. I kind of want to know what is at the top of this hill.
Great! It’s worked…. I like a sense of mystery 🙂
What a moment you captured here Sue. It exudes the every meaning of the word solitary, very powerful this…
Thank you, Sherri – pleased you liked it 🙂
🙂
Striking, with its leading lines!
Thanks, Madhu … It was a gift of a shot!
Good shot, Sue 🙂
Thanks, Jo, glad you like it!
I would trade my shoes for hers. Great shot Sue.
Thanks! 🙂
It prompts thoughts of where IS everyone … a certain ambiguous … is she hurrying or is she wearily trudging up the hill .. I like it Sue !
It was earlyish morning, which accounted for the quiet, and she was hurrying, Irecall….. But glad you like the mystery, Poppy! 🙂
A bland shot without her; perfect with her. Love this shot.
Thanks! Another gift of a shot. …
