I’m having a reminisce day. Today’s ‘One’ was seen some years ago in a small town in Provence:

Having a rest

Having a rest

  1. A delightful image. I really like the play between the spots of red and blue colours – even in the no-parking sign. Very nice.

    • Thanks, Otto… I didn’t initially like that sign, but revisiting the image 8 years on, with different software, I saw the links!

  2. Lovely shutters – Dawn would like this one 🙂

    • Well, yes, hadn’t thought of that! BTW, I have just updated the Decay images….I think at Web size they’re not going to appear quite as they should, but see if there’s any improvement

  3. I love the color and the lines of the windows carried down to the doors on the right and the arches on the right. And my eyes are caught also by the lines on the right of the ramp or bridge leading up and the stair rails on the left. I really like this photo!

    • D’you know, I was drawn to the scene back at the time I took it, but never felt happy with the image. But I think I’m getting better at processing (this was unfortunately a tad underexposed), and with some different software I think it looks OK now! Glad you like it 🙂

  4. A beautifull composed image.

Over to you...
