This week, the WordPress Photo Challenge is ‘Between’, and Ailsa has chosen ‘Shine’ for her Travel Theme this week.
So off to my recent Turkey Travels archive, and had a bit of a think about how to merge these two, but here we have glassblower holding a beautifully shiny piece of blown glass between his fingers (very deftly, it might be said):
Follow the links in my introduction above to see more entries for these two challenges…
They used to let us blow glass at school which strikes me as lethal in retrospect – can’t imagine they allow it now. Very strong image Sue.
Thanks, Robin, I was pleased with this image as I was practising a bit with depth of field! Allowing glass blowing at school certainly sounds lethal, but I can think of a few things we used to do in Chemistry which I’ll bet are off limits now 🙂
I adore this shot.
Thanks, Cee, I was pleased with it! 🙂
That is a fabulous shot Sue!! Perfect cropping!.
Thanks for your enthusiastic comment, Madhu! I had set myself some goals on that trip, and one was to get closer, and use depth of field to isolate/emphasise certain elements in a shot. 🙂
You did a great job!
🙂
Fascinating – very well captured… 🙂
Thanks Drake!
that is a brilliant image…and great editing
