Weekly Travel Theme:Metal and Weekly Photo Challenge:Twist

This week, Ailsa has chosen Metal as her Travel Theme and the Daily Post has Twist for our Weekly Photo challenge this week. As luck would have it, I can combine the two in an image I took at an old car graveyard in Turkey.

Here it is in it’s abandoned, decaying, twisty metally glory:

  1. You do go off the beaten path, don’t you, Sue 🙂 – not your typical tourist highlight.

    • I certainly do! I love ruins, derelict, abandoned, cobwebs and corrosion! Luckily, on this trip I was with three men, one of whom had heard about this place and as we were all keen to visit the beaten track was left briefly!

  2. Way cool for both challenge. I like it.

  3. Clever interpretation Sue! I love the textures.

  4. Very clever Sue. Great textures.

  5. You do like your ‘grunge’ photos, Sue 🙂 It’s a nice change from the pretty ones. Have a good weekend!
I’m doing it the other way now- going from yours to Jude 🙂 Bye!

  6. good combination and still comfortable 🙂

  7. Perfect choice, Sue. There’s so much going on just in the little section you caught in the photo. I can only imagine the number of photos that would be taken if I ended up at a junkyard or some such place! My iPhone might explode. 🙂
