Time for another Lingering Look at Windows…It’s Week 21 over at Dawn’s blog The Day After. This week I’m posting another miscellany of windows from my recent Turkish travels.
Can’t see the windows here!:
This one was a bit off the beaten track:
This was an interesting juxtaposition of new shiny bikes and old windows:
And here’s one in an old car graveyard…seen better days:
See more windows here.
Lovely shots! I really like the one with the shiny bikes – fresh view.
Thanks Leya! I peered over a wall and saw this sight (nosy me) 🙂
Ah, I love these, especially the car. It’s a taxi, right? Or, was a taxi might be more precise… 🙂
Paige
Not a clue, but you could be right! 🙂
Love photos 2 and 3, nice old wooden windows …and those doors!!
Those doors! I agree, I do love a door with a history/story to tell 🙂
It’s a small world sometimes – I have a photo of that exact same shop 🙂
Hohoho…I love it when I have shared histories! A friend was telling me about a trip to a ruined slate quarry in Wales, and from her description I said Tanygrisiau, or more precisely Rhosydd Barracks and showed her a photo. She immediately said ‘yes’…. I used to walk in that area 30 years ago. Another shared place.
It is weird to discover that other people have shared the same experiences – brings us closer in a way I guess. 🙂
I like to think so…you have a small piece of common ground…
I like the shattered car window!!! 🙂
Another from the car graveyard…it was a great place for textures!
I can see! 🙂
Superb variety, Sue 🙂 The one with the bikes is my favourite 🙂
Come for a catch up. I usually find you in Jude’s comments and hop over from there, but thanks for finding me this morning. It’s a damp BH morning and I have a little time to spare 🙂
Alas, I have run out of time this morning, must fly…have a great BH weekend 🙂
Simple love these windows…
Thanks! 🙂
These are awesome Sue, so many views; they really make you think.
Glad you like ’em!
