As I missed my ‘One’ post last week, here are a couple of Ones!
Both taken on my travels in Turkey last week. Seen in the old town:

A splash of colour
And in the ruins of the long-abandoned village of Kayakoy:

Interesting photos
Thanks, Suzanne. Snapshots really, but I think I caught a couple of ‘moments’
I do like these. They do convey a sense of loneliness.
Alone-ness, perhaps not always loneliness? Glad you like them.
Great solos – especially the man in the red shirt, that just makes the image ‘pop’
Thanks, I fired off a few shots quickly when I saw him…red amidst all that pale
The lady among the ruins is intriguing Sue … almost as though she was taking a short cut after shopping 🙂
This series is fascinating .. as the ‘one’ always begs for an explanation somehow in my mind .
That’s my plan…what’s the story? I certainly don’t know in most cases, and it’s intriguing to guess! Glad you like the series…I have loads of ‘one’s already, but still keep adding to them! 🙂
Love them both. The red does pop, but I prefer the setting of the second.
The setting of the second is my kind of photo opportunity place…ruined, abandoned, deserted
lovely pictures, Sue! each has a story to tell.
Thank you…I’m glad you think there are stories there, that’s my aim!
Wonderful journalistic photos of Turkey. I would like to see more than the ruins here. Thanks for sharing!
Also I LOVE the popping red format of Imbalance! Just great!
Ah, there will be more Turkey!
More Turkey please and thanks for the follow again!
