One/12

Another ‘One’ from my travels in Maramures, northern Romania.

This time, a solitary person spotted walking on the road in front of us in the early morning. The early morning mist was clearing, to reveal a beautiful blue sky….but it looked all very remote and lonely.

You have certainly travelled to some wonderful places. This one puts the viewer right in the photo – for a second we stand in your shoes. Well done.

    • Oh, great, Suzanne – that’s what I try to do in my images! And I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what is my ‘vision’ photographically speaking, and I’m not sure I have developed it yet….

  5. The early mornings are a wonderful time.
A beautiful sight… You can sense the quietness in this image. Lovely!

    • It was a great time to be around…we were up and about earlier than usual that morning because we were off to catch a narrow gauge train quite some miles away which had been chartered by some French rail enthusiasts (we had been given permission to join). But we had to be there on time!

  6. Beautiful … I would have guest this was from Japan, because I had a very likeness experience – in Nagasaki .. nearly 35 years ago.

  7. The outline of the roofs mirrors the mountain. Magnificent shot.

  8. A very atmospheric capture!

    • I love early morning mist! Just been to Turkey and got some early morning shots one day…no doubt one or two will creep onto the blog!

Over to you...
