Lingering look at Windows: Windows and Weirdness

I’ve missed posting windows for Dawn’s Lingering Look at Windows for a week or so, but here goes for this week’s offering.

I have been doing a photography project recently, and taking images in London’s East End. Here are three images that didn’t fit the brief for a number of reasons, but they all feature windows!

An experiment at blurring motion with unintended results (off with his head?):

The windows here are all but invisible:

Painted windows

I needed a passer by/passers by for this, but there’s only a reflection of me on the left! (I did get my passer by in a later shot):

Take a trip over to Dawn’s blog for more of this week’s windows here.

  1. How interesting – I like the motion blur! Was this a personal project or a college course?

  2. Great photos and I love your title. 🙂

  3. Love the ‘ghost’, Sue 🙂 Happy Easter! Hope you’re feeling a bit better.

  4. A very intriguing set Sue – The Hop Pole looks like the genuine article – not sure I have seen a pub called that before.

    • Thanks Robin! The Hop Pole looked a bit abandoned from the outside until I got closer and saw there were living plants on the inside windowsills….

Love those ‘Ghostly ‘ windows Sue . You are never going to be short on a window or two in London 🙂

  6. Great entry and the class sounds very inspiring.
