One/9

Continuing my theme of a solitary person in the frame – this time we’re on the island of Crete, Greece, several decades ago. A woman on a very heavily laden donkey:

  1. Great composition Susan! Such a lovely place!

  2. Beautiful! You’re an inspiration to us, Susan.
    Have a great weekend.
    Love, Dina

    • Oh, Dina you are very kind! I’m not feeling very inspirational at the moment, my images aren’t meeting with my approval at the moment for a project I am doing…could do better is my message to myself!! Have a lovely weekend yourself xx

      • Don’t be hard on yourself. I think your photos are extremely inspirational – they inspire me anyway 🙂

      • Thanks, Jude! I’m beginning to feel better with these compliments! But I want to take great photos, and get very frustrated when I can’t realise my vision (all too often) I’m just going to have to workk harder at the craft….

  3. That encapsulates Greece! Another place I must visit. You are making my non-existent list longer!
    Jude xx

    • I love the oxymoron…a longer non-existent list!!

      • I decided that I was never going to get to ALL the places I want to visit so tore up the list. Can’t help having one in my head though 😀

      • Ah, yes….I have lists because I might not remember the places!! Then I will just pick random places out, as I most certainly can’t get to thm all, or even a fraction….

You already had the composition know how decades ago Sue … really lovely .
Liked your photo on Otto’s blog by the way 😉

  5. A lovely capture Sue.

  6. Great capture Sue – who’d be a donkey 🙂

  7. The lengthening non-existent list: wouldn’t that be, in this context, a donkeymoron?

I’ll get my coat… Seriously, a classic almost timeless image, Sue.

  8. Suzanne

Once again you have taken the photo I have always dreamt of taking. You certainly visit some fabulous places and take fantastic photos while you there. Thanks for sharing them us.

Over to you...
