Could have posted this one for Ailsa’s ‘Pink’ Travel Theme, but not sufficient pink, I thought….

This one is from a trip to France some years ago, and was taken in Colmar, Alsace, where there are some lovely roofscapes and old medieval buildings. Waiting or watching?

Watching I think. Like you I love rooftops but it hard to get a good photo of them.

    • Totally agree….many times the composition isn’t right, or the light all wrong etc etc….I have frequently been frustrated by my inability to capture what I feel….

  2. Definitely watching – it’s in the body language 🙂 And definitely enough pink! Love the roof too…

    • Ah well, a missed pink trick… I agree re watching, but I have another image some minutes later where she is joined by someone else…. That roof is marvellous, I agree.

Those roofscapes are gorgeous indeed Sue. Great shot! 😀

  5. Nice shot. An amazing looking building.

  6. My vote would be for watching, I also think this would have worked for pink if you had wanted it to.

  7. I think she’s about to throw herself off…
Someone’s just told her that her tiles need re-pointing.

  8. Have some fantastic memories from Colmar …. and but I also became violent ill after picking and eating grapes from the wine yard that was in the middle of the town.

    • That sounds dodgy…

      • I tell you, I thought I was going to die … we had an expensive meal on this fantastic star restaurant and first I thought it was the food .. there, thank god I didn’t say anything .. then I remember the grape I had eaten when we went for a walk in town .. the was of course sprayed with insecticides.

  9. Fabullous roof and colours! Pink enough for me.
