Well, I can assure you it was rural Romania in the late noughties! 2007, to be precise…
Beautiful. Were you intentionally taking photos of one person, or is it just accidental? Makes a great series.
Not intentionally, but I recently realised that I have lots of such images, so I am clearly drawn to a scene with one individual…. Presumably because it adds interest, perhaps even tension sometimes, to an image…..

Found it – OK the flower meadow is not as impressive as I thought it might be from the black and white image. Still a beautiful landscape though and SO green!
Oh, I did have a few of flower meadows, see if I can dig them out… Maramures and Bucovina were really green!
