Time for another of my posts with one person in the scene…this old lady seen in a village in France in the region of the Cathar castles:

  1. Lovely, well captured. With such strong light it would have been easy to overexpose this shot, but the shadows are perfect. I am enjoying this series very much. I am seeing the scenes as though I was part of them, you draw me into the setting which is a remarkable talent.

    • Thanks Jude, much appreciated as always! With regards to this shot, because I always shoot RAW, I can rescue slight under/overexposure which I did here. Glad my ‘Ones’ are drawing you in!

  2. Good shot! This place must be something very beautiful.

  3. Yes, beautifully composed Sue. I Love it too.

  4. Superb photo. I love the winding road leading the eye to the woman.

  5. so lovely, Sue! beautiful capture!

  6. Nice shot. I like the fact that you have a human element in there. I only wish that she was a bit closer to the camera.

Over to you...
