Ese has chosen ‘Alive’ as our prompt this week…
I couldn’t find a quote that I could put an image to until I found this one, and an image from my travels in Tuscany, Italy fit nicely:
“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.”
Eleonora Duse

Crete Senesi, Tuscany

What a beautiful quote and clever photo combination. Fills me with joy!
Thanks Jude! This whole area filled me with joy when I was wandering around in this landscape…
You chose the same quote as me = great minds 🙂
Of course! 🙂
🙂
Such a pretty scene! Now I’m singing “the hills are alive” from The Sound of Music. 😉
Can you sing? I only ask because I can’t, but still tunelessly bellow stuff out within my 4 walls!!
Sadly no, I can’t sing. Tuneless here too!
We will sing together in disharmony… 🙂
Very well chosen photo for the theme – perfect together with the quote… 🙂
Thanks, I thought it was a good match…
I’m rejoicing! 🙂
Lovely photo and quote Sue – bit disappointed by the lack of ladders and dogs though 🙂
One of these days I shall have to take an image of a dog and a ladder…there’s a challenge!! Hahaha… I might not be laughing though…
Love your interpretation of alive Sue! Perfect pairing of quote and image.
Thanks, Madhu, I was quite pleased with this one…
I love the simplicity of your photo and the great quote you found to go with it.
That area of Italy was very inspiring for images!
Lovely quote and photo.
Thank you! 🙂
That’s wonderful quotes and images
