Lingering Look at Windows: Tea House Theatre

For this week’s Windows, something cheerful – came across this lovely tea shop on a recent wander in Vauxhall, London. They have many lovely teas to choose from, and a gorgeous selection of home made cakes…the portions are good!

You can sit and while away time with your tea on comfortable chairs and read the paper (provided)… and the atmosphere is very relaxing, welcoming. My friend an I reckoned we would be back! In the evenings they have different events on – poetry readings, jazz, a bit of drama so I understand….

  1. I must try this place out. I live near Hampton Court so not too far away.

  2. Sounds great. I must seek it out soon.

  3. It wouldn’t be my cup of tea 😀 😀 but I love the blue windows, something about an arch that is so attractive.

  4. Much more cheerful, Sue 🙂 I’m a happy sort of person (or I try to be!)
Love the teapot on the wall. I thought somebody had just popped out for a brew in the sun and left it there. Kind of thing I’d do, if I liked tea!

    • We’re kindred spirits regarding happy…I say to people that I was born under a happy star! It has proved useful in times of adversity, I usually bounce back reasonably quickly. There was more than one teapot on the wall, and on a nice sunny afternoon it added to the ambience!

  5. Sounds like my kind of place. I was wondering about that teapot as well 🙂

  6. This looks like a charming place to enjoy a cup of tea.
