Weekly Travel Theme: Yellow

For this week’s Travel Theme, Ailsa has picked the colour Yellow…. and I have picked a miscellany of yellows from my travels. Everything from signs, logos, walls, a car..

A logo seen on a wall at Elne, France (Elne has a wonderful old cathedral)…

  1. Lovely Bugatti but it should be blue……. Sacrebleu 🙂

  2. Not Ese but Ailsa – love your pics especially the shutters.

  3. This is Ailsa’s challenge my friend. Ese does the quote thing 😉

You nailed it ! Love the car!

    • Thanks, Kathryn…I like nailing things! The photo of the car is not good, though…I chopped off the front wheel, and the other two images I took were a bit less than sharp! It was quite a challenge, taking photos at that race, as it’s not something I am used to.

  5. Lovely selection Sue, Lucca is looking even more attractive! I love shutters and I love washing lines (European ones anyway) 🙂

    • I have been to Lucca three times over the years, and it never disappoints. I am a sucker for shutters and washing lines suspended below windows…and the buildings themselves need to be photogenic in some way. I did see washing below a window in Brick Lane (Spitalfields) recently, but not European enough! Might be part of a windows post one day!

  6. Love all of these, but that Old Bugatti is my favorite! Happy yellow week ahead!

    • Happy sunny week would be good, but it’s forecast to rain, rain, rain. But I shall take Happy yellow week in the spirit it was intended, and wish you the same, Rusha!

  7. The faded yellow of Lucca does it for me, Sue 🙂

  8. The shutters through the yellow flowers….brilliant! Fab interpretation Sue.
