This week, Cheri Lucas Rowlands has challenged us to come up with a Selfie “For this challenge, snap a selfie with your cameraphone or camera. Feel free to get creative and clever, and if you don’t want to share a photo of yourself, think of a way to approach this challenge in a different way.”
Well, I did take an image of myself in a mirror in a previous post (here), so for this one I’m going a bit arty, and I only appear as a sinister headshot shadow in this rather eerie tunnel:

Selfie??
Clever, well done in an arty way! 🙂
Have a lovely weekend.
Love, Dina
Thank you, Dina! You have a great weekend Suexx
Hah! Great minds think alike, only I look more like Mr Blobby than sinister! (posting tomorrow)
J xx
Well, probably nobody thinks my shadow looks sinister, but hey! Look forward to seeing your post! Sue xx
Very mysterious : )
You thinks so, Kathryn? Really? Sue xx
Yes I did!

Nice processing.
Ta much, thought it was a bit of a departure from my usual…
Very Dali-esque – like it!
Thanks Robin! Dali-sequel is another way of looking at it…

Great take on the challeng Sue! Love the editing! 😀
Thanks, Sonel….I’ve had a few positive comments for this, think I need to do more fiddling around with post processing!

Sue, that’s a very cool shot! Looks a bit MC Escher to me.

Thanks Janet – well I’ve had Dali and Escher mentioned so far, but there’s a painter whose name is eluding me that it puts me in mind. Ah well, I’ll remember one day! 🙂
Sinister indeed! Love your lurking shadow 🙂
Lurking sinisterly! I didn’t realise I had appeared in shot, as it were, and was a bit annoyed with the image when I reviewed -but it had a use after all!

I can’t help wondering, where’s the tunnel? It reminds me of the citadel in Acre, Israel.
Ah, well, it’s in Matera, Basilicata, Italy… It’s actually an old underground water collecting system which had been forgotten for decades and has now been opened as a tourist attraction. A most amazing, vast place. And of course, the image has been quite heavily processed….
Hihi, a mystirious selfie…
Great light in the picture.
Thanks! I prefer to remain mysterious….

Very ingenious 🙂
Well, I prefer to be on the other side of the lens, so this seemed an appropriate cop-out…
