Ese’s Weekly Shoot and Quote challenge: Music (alluded to…)

This week, Ese has challenged us to find quotes and images around Music….I actually have very few images of musicians or musical instruments, so I went on a hunt for quotes that I could put images to. Whether they work or not, I leave to you…..

Here are a few from my travels, mostly in Italy:

“I call architecture frozen music. “
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“Music is well said to be the speech of angels. “

“Music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable.”
Leonard Bernstein

What's in the mist?

What’s in the mist?

And to end, I love this quote (but no image to go with it) – it just chimes with me

Those who decide to use leisure as a means of mental development, who love good music, good books, good pictures, good plays, good company, good conversation, what are they? They are the happiest people in the world. ”
William Lyon Phelps

  1. Very original and perfect combinations! And the last quote sums it all up…the best way of being happy 🙂

Over to you...
