WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon

For this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge, Horizon, I have just one image which shows a vast expanse of horizon seen from a Norfolk beach.

If you look just above the copyright symbol, the remains of a sandcastle are visible, your eyes then move to the tiny figures at the water’s edge, and then to the distant horizon….I thought this one image sums up ‘horizon’ to me.

  1. I considered a Norfolk image for this challenge. It’s hard to beat for that sea – sky horizon. Great shot Sue 🙂

    • Thanks, Jude. I’ve onl been to Norfolk once, and was most taken with the vastness of the horizons on the Norfolk shores, must go back again! I thought it was time to do a UK shot, Italy has hogged the limelight of late…. 🙂

  2. I like the bits of water still on the sand. They add interest and color.

  5. Another for my bucket list.

  6. I’ve long been surprised at how few people connect the word horizontal with the word horizon. Your picture easily shows the connection.

  7. Very nice Susan – looks like an impressionist painting!
