Lingering Look at Windows: Colourful

For Dawn’s Windows challenge this week, I’m following her lead and posting some bright windows this week. I’m managing to get away from the brown this week! These are windows from the Puglian towns of Locorotondo and Ostuni, in Italy from my travels. Lots of bright white, green and red, oh and very blue sky in one image.

Locorotondo is one of “I Borghi piu Belli d’Italia” – one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. It certainly looks lovely. Plenty of narrow little lanes, and flower bedecked balconies. Judge for yourself from this selection of windows!

  1. Your gorgeous windows are proof enough Sue! Makes me want to check fares to Italy 🙂

  2. The sort of little lanes I love to wander through – decorative balconies, turquoise shutters and flowers! I am one happy lady 🙂

  3. I love Puglia… is one of my favorite places in Italy!

  4. Wonderful and moody photos, exactly my taste. I also love old doors and will post some in some weeks

  5. These are lovely, Sue. Love the louvre doors and that curvy balcony is gorgeous 🙂
Been a bit remiss with my windows lately. I do have some but I keep getting sidetracked.

    • Glad you liked them, the towns we visited in Puglia had such gorgeous windows and I thought it was time I got away from brown! For a while, at any rate! Getting sidetracked is something I do a lot, these days…

  6. This is so how I picture a little town in Italy.
