This week, for her Shoot and Quote challenge, Ese has us coming up with images to fit quotes around ‘feel’. I have picked one image, to go with a quote from Kathe Kollwitz.
I admire the work of Käthe Kollwitz, and I have been to her Memorial House in Moritzburg. To see her charcoal drawings ‘in the flesh’ was quite something.
Only the other day, I was saying to a friend that I love blue sky, my mood instantly lifts on a blue sky day, and I was bemoaning the fact that soon it would be the UK norm of cloudy skies, and frequently there would be rain…cheery soul, me! Actually, I am not a misery at all, but there is something about sunshine and blue sky….
So this quote is for me!
There are moments on most days when I feel a deep and sincere gratitude, when I sit at the open window, and there is a blue sky or moving clouds. – Käthe Kollwitz

Glad you liked the post, I’ll take a look at your blog post..
Nature has its beautiful ways of filling up us with beauty and gratitude, making/letting us feel. We only need to be open. To sunshine, the blue sky and…everything else 🙂
🙂
Yes, I know that feeling too, Sue 🙂
