The Weekly Photo Challenge from WordPress this week is Carefree. Holidays for me have always conjured up Carefree, so here is an image to demonstrate this feeling. We were on our travels, having a trip to the Stelvio Pass in Italy with the car club some years ago, and this was a stop for a photo opportunity at the old pits at what was the Reims motor racing circuit.
I had put the camera on the tripod, set the self timer, and was still running back to the car when the shutter tripped….carefree or what?

Little cars at Reims pits
Some kind person did then take a photo of all of us with my camera…I should have had my car closest to the camera!
brilliant and sorta’ car free (not) – play on words/images.
Hahaha…I love that, My little brain missed that one! 😀 😀
LOL! Looks like fun 🙂
It was – fun driving and great camaraderie! 🙂

Fabulous shot of some wonderful machinery – is yours the red L reg Midget? Mine was a K reg – must put up some pics some time. Much nicer without the big rubber bumpers although I did have one of those too (briefly).
No, I’m seen running towards the other red vehicle!
Nice cars!
Yes, and fun too!
I bet! You must miss those days.
I do, but I try not to think about it to much….
Best not to, although memories can be sweet. I remember when I could leap over stiles like a gazelle!!! And climb up mountains without having to stop every five minutes to take a
breatherphotograph. At least you can still climb up mountains!
Hills Sue, only hills!
Ah well, still good!
