Black and White Photo Challenge: Texture

Sonel has us thinking about textures for this week’s Black and White photo challenge. For my response, I have decided to pick just one image with a number of textures.

I wanted to pick an image from the garden for a change. This bee was busy on the lavender, and despite the fact you can’t pick out the texture of the lavender especially well, the bee’s furry body and it’s wings are quite well defined.

Now, I don’t have a macro lens, and this image has made me realise I could really do with one!

Oh wow Sue, that is just amazing! I can even see the hair on the bee’s body…it looks like a little furry toy bee. 😀 This is one fantastic shot hon! I love it! Great entry for the challenge for sure and thanks so much for taking part. Much appreciated. 🙂 *big hugs*
