Over at Where’s my Backpack, the weekly travel theme is benches. I had a trawl through some images, little thinking that I would be able to come up with much on the theme, let alone much variety. Well, I was amazed at how these places to rest your weary legs pop up! And found some I didn’t realise were in the frame because they weren’t the ‘main event’, so to speak.
I have picked a few here, from a stone bench in Lanzarote to a makeshift bench outside a painted monastery in Bucovina, Romania and a bench with a view over the French town of Angles sur l’Anglin. In every case, I have the bench as part of a scene, as I felt some of the benches themselves weren’t interesting enough when taken out of context!
Lovely!!! 🙂
Thank you!
