At last, summer has arrived! I spent a fun afternoon over at Bayham Abbey on the Kent/Sussex border. The sun brought out the colours and textures of the old stone, and I spent time taking photographs that would capture the essence of the place. My aim was to create for the most part different images to those usually seen for this ruin.

A very atmospheric and evocative place for a wander.
I particularly like number 3.
Lovely photos Sue. What an interesting place to visit.
Thanks! It is a beautiful place, especially when the sun is on the stone.
