A sense of place

This post is images…a friend took me to Watt’s Cemetery Chapel in Compton yesterday – what a place!  But I was minus camera, so scooted back today to see if I could take images that gave a sense of the place, outside.

Walking up through the cemetery, carpeted with tiny blue flowers (not bluebells, I need to find out what they are)

The view from the cemetery is beautiful, especially now the blossom is out – this image doesn’t quite do it justice, especially at this size. The carvings on the exterior of the chapel are exquisite…and full of amazing detail (there is a tiny carved mouse at the bottom left of this image, difficult to see on an image this size).
